The goal of the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) program is to create a technically and scientifically competent clinical pharmacist who can use their training to provide patients with healthcare services. The Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, has approved the six-year PhD program which is run by IPR, GLA University, Mathura. Knowledge about pharmacology, Pharmacotherapeutics, Medicinal chemistry, social, and clinical services for patient health care is covered in the Pharm. D program's course curriculum. The college has become the top Pharm D College in western Uttar Pradesh since its inception in 2024. This is the only pharmacy course that certifies the professional to make critical judgments regarding prescribed medications and gives direct access to the patient's healthcare system. In addition to continuing practice and research initiatives, the Pharm. D program specifically includes an instructive study in the classroom and hospital, followed by a year-long internship in a hospital for clinical management of in-patients.
